Sandy Beach was created using layered Watercolors, with some details added using watercolor pencils. For a reference, I used a photo from an old calendar, shifting the colors slightly to better suit the medium. I don’t have a deep emotional attachment to this one, but I do really like how it came out. I find the scene soothing, and look forward to exploring this type of image further in the future!
It’s been a while since I added a new item to Etsy, so this one gets a turn at the rotation!
